Photographs
Each entry below gives what the photo shows, who took it, the license and a link to the original file page on Wikimedia Commons. Photos are cropped and resized for the page layout and saved as smaller web files; nothing else in them is changed. Photos under a ShareAlike (BY-SA) license stay under that same license here.
Some of these photos show a maker's badge on a unit. The badge is incidental: Penny Damper does not name or rate equipment brands from a photo.

Illustrations and charts
The twelve drawings marked "Illustration" (a blower assembly, an outdoor unit with its run capacitor, a condensate drain with a float switch, a leaking duct joint, a furnace burner row, a heat pump in defrost, a refrigerant loop, a whole-house humidifier, an electric meter, a utility bill on a kitchen table, tax paperwork beside a model heat pump and an air conditioner with an efficiency label) were made for this site with an image-generation tool. The job-ticket charts on the article and hub pages were made for this site the same way and carry a source line along the bottom. They simplify; the text on each page and its linked sources carry the exact figures.
Corrections
If a credit is wrong or incomplete, the fix is made on this page as soon as the error is found, and a photo whose license can't be confirmed is taken down. The sources page explains how other corrections are handled, and the About page says who runs the site.
