Privacy
Short answer
Penny Damper has no accounts, forms, tracking cookies, analytics scripts or ad trackers; the only outside requests are for web fonts, video thumbnail images and, if you press play, a video.

What is collected
Penny Damper collects nothing from you directly. There are no accounts, sign-ups, comment boxes, newsletters or forms, and the site sets no tracking cookies. It runs no analytics scripts, ad networks or social media trackers, and it does not sell or share data about visitors.
Fonts and videos
The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser asks Google's font servers for the font files, and that request includes your IP address and browser details, as any web request does. Google's own privacy policy covers what it does with those requests.
Some pages include a YouTube video, and these are click-to-play. Before you click, the only thing that loads from YouTube is the thumbnail picture, from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com). The video player loads from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play. From that point, YouTube's privacy policy applies to the player, and YouTube may store information in your browser.
Host logs
The company that hosts the site keeps standard server logs, which record things like the IP address, the page requested, the time and the browser type. They are used to keep the site running and to block abuse. Penny Damper does not use them to build profiles of visitors.
Other websites
Pages link to government agencies, equipment makers and, on some pages, businesses under the same ownership as this site (listed on the ownership page). Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link. A link carries no personal data from Penny Damper; your browser may tell the other site which page you came from, as browsers normally do.
Changes
If the site starts loading anything new from another company, or changes what it collects, this page will be updated first. The About page explains what the site is and who owns it.
